Welcome to the NAS Jacksonville Dive Club's web page.  You may find all of the latest information on the club, local dive shops, dive sites that we have visited recently.  Founded in 1973, we are the oldest scuba club in Jacksonville Florida and the first recreational scuba club sanctioned by the US Navy.  We provide training on a non-profit basis, as well as fellowship & friendship.  If you have any suggestions as to what you would like to see here, please let us know.

Scuba STAR Network is an independent organization dedicated to improving safety in recreational diving. They work closely with the Divers Alert Network (DAN) to gather safety data, and to bring safety concerns to the attention of the diving public.  Articles are currently being published in DAN's Alert Diver magazine to assist in this effort.

Six times a year the Scuba STAR Network publishes a short Scuba Safety Survey to learn more about situations that recreational divers experience. These reports are completely anonymous, and should only take a few minutes of your time to complete. Your inputs will be reviewed and correlated by our staff, and the results posted both here and on DAN's web site for the benefit of our readers. Informal analysis of the results will also be provided in DAN's Alert Diver magazine, and other safety-minded scuba publications.

Feel free to join us, we meet the first Wednesday of every month, 7pm at the Golden Corral at 11470 San Jose Blvd in Mandarin.
